Trusts & Estates Paralegal

Gordon Feinblatt is seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal in our Trusts & Estates Practice Group.

The candidate will have an undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the administration of large and complex estates, and all types of trusts.

Estate Administration Duties:

• Handle all aspects of the probate process
• Prepare federal and state estate tax returns
• Run various tax projections
• Coordinate the preparation of all appraisals and income tax returns (individual and fiduciary)

Trust Administration Duties:

• Handle all aspects of trust administration
• Prepare fiduciary accountings
• Distribute to beneficiaries
• Conduct tax planning
• Coordinate fiduciary income tax return preparation

Key requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable with significant client interaction
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload effectively and efficiently
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe
• Willingness to learn various software programs designed for the trusts and estates practice area
