Job Purpose :
The purpose of the Enterprise Business Development Executive role is to acquire new large clients in a defined regional market. This position is primarily focused on identifying, engaging and closing new business opportunities with large organizations that demonstrate substantial revenue potential and ongoing business activity.
Responsibilities :
Develop a strategic business plan to attack the assigned market using both account lists as well as other business intelligence.
Establish relationships with top tier level clients in assigned markets, calling on them to create selling opportunities to displace competitive organizations and gain net new business.
Adhering to an established sales process, along with strong documentation and communication.
Partner with branch level Major Account and Territorial Account Executives in a collaborative partnership during the sales cycle and post-sale to transition on-going account management.
Partner with GFC strategic pricing team to create competitive offerings required to displace incumbent providers.
Provide thought leadership to others at GFC regarding the various steps in the sales process.
Drive activity throughout the regional market to ensure new clients and take ownership of pursing new business
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 2 years of B2B outside sales experience, selling technology solutions to medium and large organizations.
Must have existing skills and experience in gaining access to decision makers and navigating complex buying cycles found in clients at this level.
Must be willing to work exclusively in a new-business generation and be rewarded for their production in closing on net-new business.
Must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the sales team during and after sales process.
Motivated by competition.
Must be able to work independently at times, with little or no direct supervision.
Must be comfortable with the use of business intelligence and sales support technology.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent comparable experience required.
Willing to travel to regional markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an exclusively new-business generation role.
Prior experience in the Office Technology industry.
