Sales Manager
- The Sales Manager is responsible for managing daily duties of the sales team, including weekly store tasks, reviewing sale performance and closing ratios, and sales team education.
- Manages lead generation, clienteling, and follow-up of both prospects and current customers.
- Overseas our custom design process, ensuring client’s needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inform the sales team of new product, sales policies, company updates, and sales/promotions via weekly staff meetings.
- Maintain our sales training program.
- Identifies gaps in our product lines from sales interactions, reporting loss of sales for merchandise review.
- Works with other managers to design, create, and implement policies around increasing sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the showroom and products, restocking as necessary.
- Check customers out with their purchases, fulfill web orders, and ship merchandise.
- Answer customer phone calls, texts, emails, and social media messages
- Use marketing tools to reach customers for sales and promotions
- Intake customer repairs and arrange customer pickups
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2 year of previous retail sales experience, jewelry industry preferred.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Jewelry or sales certifications, GAI, JA preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Computer skills (Email, Word, Excel)
Pay Range
- Starting at $18 per hour commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
