- Facilitate recreational activities that promote physical and mental engagement.
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals related to independence and self-care.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required for mobility support or during activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care, hospice care, or working in a group home setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care practices and the ability to perform CPR is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and the ability to engage individuals with developmental disabilities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client support or activity facilitation.
