Gordon Management seeks a candidate looking to train into a career as maintenance professional to assist with property maintenance needs. This position will encompass several small properties to complete all work orders and turns.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Respond to work orders from residents: assess issues and make needed repairs.
· Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
· Complete apartment turnovers with efficiency and attention to detail.
· Maintain apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
· Maintain property exteriors and grounds.
· Maintain a positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
· On-Call Rotation
· Other duties as assigned.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - QUALIFICATIONS:
· Basic knowledge of tools.
· Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
· Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
· Ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle.
· Ability to multi-task, establish priorities.
· Maintain professionalism while in contact with residents and employees.
· Communicate and react with a sense of urgency.
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
· Ability to use a smart phone and software apps.
· Drug and background check required.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SKILLS:
Entry Level Acceptable and Skills will be Developed.

· Basic appliance repair plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
· Knowledge of tools and machinery and how to properly maintain and operate them, as safety is a priority.
