Duties
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and design innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Supervise food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional food offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Experience
- Proven experience in kitchen management within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
