Duties
- Design and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Coordinate event planning, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management.
- Facilitate group activities that encourage socialization and community involvement.
- Collaborate with caregiving staff to ensure activities align with residents' care plans and preferences.
- Conduct assessments to identify residents’ interests and needs related to recreational therapy.
- Maintain an organized schedule of events and communicate updates to residents and families.
- Foster a positive environment by encouraging resident participation and feedback on activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in recreational therapy, social work, or caregiving within senior care settings is preferred.
