Dietary Aide/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Buss tables and ensure dining areas are clean and organized.
• Support the culinary team with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with residents during meal times and addressing any concerns or requests.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for all.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred.
• Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team while also being attentive to individual needs of residents.
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
