Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation Associate (2-5 years)

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated 2-5-year Associate to join our Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Group in Chicago. Candidates must possess a strong analytical ability; have excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills; and a commitment to client service. Additionally, candidate must have a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic, as well as the ability to work productively in both independent and team environments.

Job duties include performing legal research; drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and client correspondence; attending court conferences, handling investigations and discovery, including depositions. This is a hit-the-ground-running opportunity where the candidate will receive immediate meaningful litigation experience.

An Illinois bar membership is required, and some law firm experience is preferred but not required.

We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for subjective and objective bonuses and student debt repayment assistance.

The yearly salary range is $125,000 – $160,000, depending on experience.
