Full-Time Daylight Cleaner – Job Description

Location: Office/Production Facility 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Daylight Hours 
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
The Full-Time Daylight Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation. This position covers a variety of environments, including front office areas, production support spaces, and specialized lab/clean rooms. The role requires significant physical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a consistent workload throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect front office space, lobby, entrance, hallways, steps, and all common areas daily.

• Maintain conference room (1 large) with regular cleaning and readiness for meetings.

• Clean and sanitize all bathrooms (3 in office areas, 2 in production areas) with a focus on hygiene and restocking supplies.

• Clean and maintain the office breakroom/kitchen, ensuring surfaces, appliances, and floors are sanitized.

• Service the production lunchroom and ensure cleanliness and trash removal.

• Clean production offices (4 total) twice per week; no surface wiping required, but floors and trash must be addressed.

• Remove cardboard from designated areas as needed.

• Empty trash receptacles in all production areas and transport waste to appropriate disposal locations.

• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly.

Physical Capabilities & Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and move continuously throughout an 8-hour shift across a large facility.

• Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 40 pounds, including trash bags and cardboard.

• Comfortable using stairs and performing cleaning on steps and elevated areas.

• Able to push/pull cleaning carts and equipment throughout the facility.

• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning tools, vacuums, and floor care machines.

• Ability to work in various environments, including office, production, and clean lab areas, while adhering to specific protocols.

• Stamina and strength to perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
