Job Summary:
This position, under the supervision of the Registrar, evaluates transfer credit for students applying to transfer to Gordon State College.
Responsibilities:
- Performs entry of institution and course data in Student Information System for purpose of articulation.
- Evaluates transferable credits to determine course equivalencies for degree requirements.
- Collaborates with Deans and Department Heads in review of course descriptions as needed.
- Communicates with Admissions team regarding the completion and readiness of applicant files for decisions.
- Reviews and processes Student Academic Requests pertaining to transfer credit.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a bachelor's degree.
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one year.

- Knowledge of transfer credit policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements.
