We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the clinic, and delivering excellent customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare provider
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate data entry into computerized systems.
- Maintain patient records, including updating information
- Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.
- Answer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with medical scheduling procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
