Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the clinic, and delivering excellent customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare provider
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate data entry into computerized systems.
  • Maintain patient records, including updating information
  • Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.
  • Answer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
  • Familiarity with medical scheduling procedures is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
