Gordon has a dedicated Water Resources Team, providing services in the following areas: stormwater management design, floodplain analysis and permitting, dam breach analysis and permitting, municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permitting, stormwater construction inspections, and stormwater operation and maintenance program.
This Opportunity
Gordon is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to join our Water Resources Team within our Chantilly, VA office. A resume and cover letter are requested.
This individual will have the opportunity to manage stormwater management design, construction, and maintenance operations on a wide variety of projects. Our projects implement a wide variety of stormwater management facilities, such as bioretentions, green roofs, permeable pavements, stormwater ponds, manufactured treatment devices, and underground detention facilities. This individual will also have the opportunity to manage floodplain and dam permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, breach and inundation analyses, and emergency planning.

This individual will also be responsible for supervising at least one (1) direct report and serving as a technical mentor to the other water resources team design engineers.
Technical Design Opportunities
• Design all types of SWM facilities
• Oversee construction inspections for all types of SWM facilities and other related construction administration
• Develop and execute stormwater operation and maintenance programs for entities owning large SWM assets
