Job description
Key Management Company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Team. This individual would assist the manager with the daily operations of our Apartment Community.
The ideal candidate would be a good communicator, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, detail oriented, excellent customer service and strong office administrative skills. Experience working in Section 8/42 Property Management is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Assistant Property Manager
- Interview new prospective tenants and give tours of property.
- Process applications, conduct credit checks and call references.
- Prepare new leases and all resident forms including HUD/Section 42 forms with complete documentation and handle the orientation of new residents.
- Assist with outside marketing as needed.
- Inspect the property on a regular basis to assess condition of buildings and grounds, and to ensure that empty units are ready for new tenants
- Assist the Property Manager with delegating tasks to maintenance including opening and closing work orders.
- Manage records and files of current tenants in a property management data base.
- Assist with management of the property or perform specific duties on an assigned basis as needed.
EOE $14.00 to $16.00

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
