Gorin Sports is looking for an enthusiastic Basketball Coach or Assistant Coach to help run our Summer Basketball Camps alongside our Head Basketball Coach! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience, mentor young athletes, and potentially transition into a permanent coaching position later in the season.
Position: Summer Camp Basketball Coach / Assistant Coach
📍 Location: Ringdall Junior High School, Bellevue, WA
📅 Duration: Summer season (June 23, 2025 - August 29, 2025), with potential for a permanent role
💲 Compensation: $25 Based on experience
Responsibilities:
✔️ Assist in leading basketball drills, skill development, and conditioning sessions
✔️ Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to young athletes
✔️ Help set up and break down training stations and equipment
✔️ Support the Head Coach in managing camp activities and schedules
✔️ Ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants
✔️ Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff
Qualifications:
🔹 Prior experience coaching or playing basketball at a competitive level preferred
🔹 Experience working with kids in a sports setting is a plus
🔹 Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
🔹 Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
🔹 Reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic about player development
