What You’ll Do
As the Receptionist/HR Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and employees entering the building. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will manage the front desk, greet and assist visitors, handle incoming calls, and provide administrative support to the HR department and other duties as assigned. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and safeguard confidential information.

What You’ll Do

You will manage the front desk, greet and assist visitors, handle incoming calls, and provide administrative support to the HR department and other duties as assigned. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and safeguard confidential information.
- Manage the security badge program by creating badges for employees and visitors
- Document and communicate when employees call into the absence line
- Verify timecards are clear of errors and ready for payroll
- Manage the partnership with the uniform company
- Partner with the breakroom vending company to ensure optimal service
- Assist with the coordination and planning or employee engagement activities and company functions
- Serves as the main point of contact to order office supplies for all departments
- Responsible for maintaining, filing and auditing employee files which could include corrective actions, attendance tracking and offer letters
- Assist with the coordination of new hire orientation
- Manages the new hire onboarding and termination process
- Maintain the plant calendar and internal digital boards for employee communication
- Organizes the locker clean out program
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications are a plus
- 2 to 3 years of administrative experience in a professional setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to distinguish between acceptable and not acceptable standards
- Ability to effectively with all levels of the organization
