Fabricator

Job Responsibilities:

· Read blueprints and use various hand tools and machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic components and assemblies

· Weld steel, stainless, and aluminum assemblies (mostly MIG)

· Operate CNC press brake other presses and benders

· Operate CNC flat cutting equipment including waterjet, laser, and punch

· Operate other powered fabrication equipment including saws, iron workers, sand blasters, presses, and hand tools

· Occasional powder coat painting

· Perform maintenance and set up on various types of equipment

Requirements:

· Applicant must be a citizen of the United States

· Ability to read blueprints

· Ability to read measuring tools

· Be self-motivated and fast learner

· Be detail oriented and focused

· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift 50 lb.

· Ability to work up to 50 hours per week, weekends as needed

· Be proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with good communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to balance multiple priorities and responsibilities

· Prior experience in manufacturing fabrication preferred

· Prior experience operating CNC fabrication equipment preferred
