What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Aide position at Goshen Health?
Summary
Primary duties of the Rehab Aide will be to assist the Rehab department by maintaining Joint Commission standards for routine cleaning of equipment, toys, feeding utensils, adult and pediatric treatment rooms, adult and pediatric gyms. Secondary duties will include, but not be limited to ordering and stocking necessary supplies including linens, ultrasound gels, and other necessary items for the Rehab department. Assists at Inpatient Rehab when necessary by transporting patients and updating the Inpatient Rehab list by reviewing new orders and screens. Performs necessary computer tasks such as scheduling interpreters, ordering supplies, etc. Assists in the intake process for new evaluations either over the phone or in person. Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Must be high school graduate or have evidence of the equivalent. Must have a legible handwriting and be proficient in spelling.
- Minimum Experience: Experience with customer service or clerical/assistance in a department. Experience with computer programs.
- Certifications Preferred: CPR certification
