Primary Responsibilities:
- Use nursing skills and experience in the Unit Manager role to perform professional assessments and coordination of care needed for the residents.
- Will provide supervision, direction and education to the nursing staff while overseeing the entire operation of their assigned station to ensure quality care.
- Available for flexible hours as needed, holiday, or weekend.
- Will be included in the on-call rotation schedule.
Qualifications:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1-3 years of nursing experience, skilled nursing, long-term care or post-acute care preferred with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must possess leadership skills, can make sound decisions, and work under pressure.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance for long-term care.
- Experience in geriatric setting preferred.
- Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
This position also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
Salary : $200
