QUALIFICATIONS:
•Valid Arkansas Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology K-12
•Valid Arkansas Board of Examiners, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) License
•Valid American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate
•Current National Provider Identifier (NPI) Number
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services and Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: SLP contract is 190 days. Salary is commensurate with years of experience and is available at the Gosnell School District website on the Certified Salary Schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•SLP will provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students with disabilities who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency.
•SLP will implement an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for assigned students with disabilities.
•SLP will maintain special education due process folders.
•SLP will maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the Special Education Automation Software (SEAS) Attain.
•SLP will maintain all necessary documentation needed for Medicaid billing and submit all billing accurately and in a timely manner.
