Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions that allow participants to practice skills in a safe environment.
- Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid guidelines and best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience.
- Ensure all training materials and equipment are prepared and available for each class.
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages questions and participation.
- Collaborate with other instructors to improve course offerings and instructional methods.
Skills
- Strong background in first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience in adult education or teaching, particularly in a classroom setting.
