We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating individuals in essential first aid and CPR techniques, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. You will lead classroom sessions, develop lesson plans, and engage participants through effective public speaking and communication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions on first aid and CPR techniques.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that meet educational standards.
- Educate participants on the importance of first aid, CPR, and emergency response.
- Utilize effective public speaking skills to communicate information clearly.
- Assess participant understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest first aid guidelines and best practices.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages questions and participation.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings.
Skills
- Strong ability to educate diverse groups in a classroom setting.
- Proficient in CPR techniques and first aid procedures.
- Experience in lesson planning tailored for adult education.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage an audience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Background in lifeguarding or swimming is a plus but not required.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
