Job Descriptions
Teacher: The teacher will be responsible for assigned groups and responsibilities. The teacher will report to the appropriate center Assistant Director. The duties and responsibilities of the teacher are as follows:
1. Teaching of the assigned group.
2. Lesson planning, observations, portfolios and evaluations.
3. Handle all situations arising from their class.
4. Care of all children in their groups.
5. Report to Assistant Director any and all problems involving a child or parent.
6. Protect the health and safety of all children in the center.
7. Follow all State and Local standards that apply to their duties.
8. Housekeeping duties.
9. Serving all meals and snacks as directed.
10. Keep their individual time card up to date.
11. Follow all disciplinary rules of the center.
12. Be considerate of fellow employees.
13. Attend all employee meetings, field trips, Open House, graduation, or any functions involving the center.
14. Attend seminars and classes yearly to comply with state standards.
15. Follow the center dress code.
16. Diapering/Potty training
17. Record keeping of children in their group.
