LOCATION: TAMPA, FL
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Reporting directly to the CAD Drafter, the Drafting and Design Manager is at the heart of Got Rack’s project visualization. This role mandates the creation of high-quality design drafts, ensuring our projects are both functional and aesthetically captivating. Collaboration with our engineering and project teams is key, and your expertise will drive the realization of our most ambitious projects.

YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Supervise and guide the drafting and design team
- Translate project specifications into detailed drafts and designs
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are feasible
- Review and approve final drafts, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Stay updated with industry trends, bringing in fresh perspectives and techniques
- Ensure projects are completed within designated timelines
- Regularly liaise with clients, understanding their vision and ensuring its accurate translation in designs
YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or related field
- 4 to 5 years of experience in design and drafting, with managerial experience being a plus
- Proficiency in industry-leading drafting software [e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.]
- Strong communication skills with an ability to present design concepts clearly
- An eye for detail and a commitment to precision

Pay: $40,507.15 - $75,000.00 per year
