Job Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: We’re looking for an early-career developer, someone who may have recently completed a coding bootcamp or is transitioning from another career path and is ready to apply technical skills in a marketing-focused environment. In-person 5 days a week at our Arlington, VA office.
GoTab specializes in POS and contactless ordering and payment solutions for restaurants, retail, and entertainment venues. As our Junior Marketing Developer, you’ll directly contribute to optimizing marketing campaigns through code, analytics integrations, and data-driven insights. Working closely with marketing and cross-functional teams on-site, you’ll refine lead-generation tools, run A/B tests, and solve technical issues that impact user engagement. This role offers hands-on experience to expand both your technical and marketing skills while helping grow our presence in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test, modify, and deploy lead-generation code for marketing campaigns
- Integrate analytics tools to track performance metrics and guide data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns, conduct A/B tests, and improve conversion rates
- Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain a seamless user experience across all devices and browsers
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a coding bootcamp or similar web development program
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of Git and responsive design principles
- Ability to work in-person and engage with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with marketing best practices, email templates, and personalization tools
- Knowledge of SEO and A/B testing methodologies
- Experience using analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics) to report on campaign performance
- Exposure to front-end frameworks or fundamental back-end concepts for advanced integrations
- Understanding of the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
