Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site, store presenting role. The Visual Merchandising Store Manager is responsible for creating and executing visual merchandising strategies to enhance the in-store customer experience and drive sales. The individual will work closely with the General Manager, Store Managers, the buying departments, and the marketing team to ensure visual consistency across the store and regularly monitor sales trends to create and adjust displays as necessary. Visual Merchandising Store Manager is a crucial role in retail stores as it plays a significant part in creating a captivating, engaging, and inviting shopping experience for customers. They are responsible for implementing creative concepts that ensure a store's product display creates an emotional connection with the customers, ultimately leading to increased sales. Creativity, attention to detail, and strategic thinking are crucial qualities for Visual Merchandising Managers. This role will report to the General Manager.
Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of visual merchandising within their home store
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans that align with the brand’s sales goals, overall selling strategy, and marketing plan
- Create and maintain visual displays that effectively showcase new products, promotions and seasonal collections
- Collaborate with store leadership team to train sales associates on visual merchandising standards and techniques
- Ensure all visual displays adhere to safety and compliance standards
- Design and implement product displays that are visually appealing and enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Assess the metrics for sales and revenue generated by visual merchandising activities and present the results to store management
- Collaborate with the marketing and buying teams to ensure that product displays align with stock availability and current promotions
- Stay updated with current trends in visual merchandising and implement best practices in stores
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Trains store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials; delivering training sessions; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with the General Manager
- Prepares feedback by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Takes responsibility and accountability for a specialized division of responsibility within the leadership team
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in training workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies
- Provides outstanding customer service in line with the Gotham experience
- Motivate and coach staff to reach their fullest potential and to maximize business opportunities
- Create a positive, inclusive work environment resulting in retention of the best people and turnover reduction
- Greets and receives customers in an individual welcoming manner while encouraging them to buy
- Accompanies customers by escorting them to different areas of the store
- Responds to customers’ questions and assists associates in resolving customer service issues
- Adhere to weekly work schedules (weekends, nights, holidays) and be flexible to the needs of the business
- Assist General Manager with Store Manager general responsibilities as outlined in the Store Manager job description, including opening and closing the store as needed to ensure the customer experience remains the first priority
Skills & Qualifications

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
