Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy, assessing new client histories, and determining appropriate treatment options in consultation with the patient and other mental health professionals
- Consults with Clinical Director in the development and facilitation of program activities which assures an optimal therapeutic experience for all patients
- Participates as member of the credentialing committee
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings including collaboration with psychiatric providers and other organization clinical staff
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
- Conducts and documents ongoing assessment of patient progress in approved platform(s)
- Evaluate and document effectiveness of patient teaching, therapy, interventions and patient responses
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field. (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW)
- Active licensure in the state of California
- You have 2 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences
- You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy
- You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care
- You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve
