Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, marriage, and group counseling sessions based on expertise
- Perform mental health screenings to identify treatment needs
- Establish a trusting and supportive relationship with patients
- Listen to clients' goals and assess their needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client circumstances
- Meet with clients regularly for therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Contribute to the practice by performing additional related tasks as assigned
What You Must Have:
- Must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Social Work (LICSW)
- Must be Active licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW)
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience working with individuals facing mental and behavioral health challenges, including co-occurring disorders, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment
- Excellent knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and best practices
- Familiarity with current principles, practices, techniques, and trends in individual and family counseling
