Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine

Ambulatory Medical Practices MSO Inc. (AMP), for ColumbiaDoctors, has a tremendous opportunity for a full-time Adult Internal Medicine/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in a multi-specialty setting.

Job Summary:

• Provide diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, and monitor ongoing health status in an autonomous setting within the scope of a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
• Perform comprehensive health histories and physical exams and record findings
• Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, and other appropriate diagnostic studies
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and develop a treatment plan
• Establish patient outcomes/goals, determine effectiveness of treatment plan, and modify as needed, provide health promotion, wellness care, anticipatory guidance, and patient/family education
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses
• Must have NP Board Certification
• BCLS, ACLS Certifications
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• The Nurse Practitioner should have at least 3 years advanced practice caring for adults in a internal medicine setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
