Responsibilities:- Provide assessment/diagnosis and psychotherapy to a wide range of patients as young as 12 up to geriatric age that are appropriate for telehealth services
- Use evidence-based screening tools with patients to screen and measure outcomes
- Document in electronic medical record the services that were provided, as well as providing diagnosis and billing code for the encounter
- Provide services via an audio and visual two-way communication platform
- Abide by the NASW code of Ethics and all laws and regulatory bodies governing the practice location
- Coordinate with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members in the provision of services to patients if necessary.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources and support services.
- Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
- Experience: Minimum of 24 months experience within the last 36 months in performing evidence-based clinical treatment in an outpatient clinic or hospital.
- Board Certification: Shall have national and/or state (required) approved and current board certification or board eligible certification in the specialty area in which they provide clinical services.
- Life Support Certifications: AHA or ARC BLS Certification
