THE ROLE
Gotham Greens is seeking an experienced and passionate Grower to lead our Virginia Growing team. This role will manage all aspects of crop production to achieve best in class yields and quality. The Grower will report to the Director of Growing, oversee several direct reports and work closely with the Plant Manager to run a smooth and efficient operation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or Related Field
- 3 years’ experience in management role in commercial greenhouse production
- Understanding of all aspects of crop production and growing
- Experience with climate control software platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive at work under minimal supervision/direction
- Available to work weekends and work flexible hours as required
The ideal candidate:
- Master’s Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or Related Field
- Commercial production experience in hydroponics
- Commercial production experience in leafy greens and herbs
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
- Extremely well organized
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with business intelligence systems
- Reliable and highly motivated
