Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer to develop and promote Advanced Analytics practices using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This hands-on role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions to extract actionable insights across various business domains, including customer engagement, volunteer participation, conference performance, industry adoption, and more. The ideal candidate will work independently to drive AI initiatives, influence decision-making, and support business objectives through data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- AI/ML Model Development: Design, build, and deploy predictive models and AI/ML algorithms for simulations, prototypes, and enterprise applications.
- Data Collection & Processing: Develop processes for data acquisition and transformation to support AI/ML models.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and implement A/B testing frameworks for product-driven decision-making.
- User Behavior & Business Metrics Analysis: Develop AI-driven models to classify and predict user behavior and other key business metrics.
- Data Exploration & Evaluation: Assess and optimize new and existing data sources to improve AI/ML model accuracy and reliability.
- Big Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with technology teams to define and implement big data infrastructure for AI/ML solutions.
- AI Evangelism & Adoption: Advocate for AI/ML adoption by showcasing outcomes to stakeholders and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Model Validation & Optimization: Establish validation processes to assess model performance and continuously improve AI-driven insights.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Implement emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and contribute to governance frameworks for their application.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
- 3 years of hands-on AI/ML model development.
- 4 years of experience using statistical programming languages (Python, R).
- 2 years working with data science tools (Pandas, NumPy, MatLab, Jupyter).
- 3 years in Advanced Analytics and Data Visualization.
- 5 years of experience with SQL and database technologies.
- 2 years of experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, MongoDB, Redshift) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ML algorithms (k-NN, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests).
- Deep understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
- Experience with data mining and AI-driven analytics.
- Hands-on experience in developing AI/ML solutions for structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to evaluate AI tools, frameworks, and techniques to recommend best-fit solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle ambiguous problems.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and AI adoption advocacy.
