Job Title: Desktop Support Analyst
Location: Onsite – Charleston, SC
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Overview:
Join a high-performing tech support team in beautiful Charleston! Our client is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Analyst to deliver exceptional in-person technical support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves walk-up and scheduled hardware, software, and user experience support for internal employees, including executive-level staff.
This is a renewable contract with the potential for full-time hire and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Triage, resolve, and document support tickets using Zendesk or similar tools
- Deliver white-glove, in-person support for users, including executive support
- Support Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)
- Set up and maintain conference room AV and meeting technology
- Manage onsite IT inventory: imaging, setup, replacement, and shipping
- Assist with user access and identity management via Okta and Microsoft Intune
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of work and support processes
- Participate in ticket queue rotation and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Tools & Technologies:
- Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows 11
- Productivity Tools: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
- Ticketing Systems: Zendesk or similar
- Identity & Device Management: Okta (SSO, MFA), Microsoft Intune
- Mobile Devices: iOS, Android
- Networking/Telephony: Cisco (basic support level)
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of IT support experience in a corporate or professional services setting
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures, escalate when necessary, and work collaboratively
- Familiarity with ITSM practices and documentation
- Basic knowledge of networking and enterprise systems
- A Certification preferred
Schedule & Location:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Work Environment: 100% onsite in Charleston, SC
