Part-Time Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining an inviting shopping environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for gothic and punk style, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection and inquiries.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and sales techniques to effectively sell merchandise.
• Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members and training new associates as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Experience

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is essential.
• Gothic and punk style associates are preferred.
• Students in the art field are ideal candidates

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
