Job Summary
The Final Mile Distribution Analyst (“Associate”) supports the GoTo Foods Franchise community, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction with Final Mile Delivery Services. They ensure inventory and service-level compliance as outlined in the company’s distribution service agreements. They as a liaison between our distributors and our Brands support our distribution partners’ view that GoTo Foods Supply Chain (“GTFSC”) is a customer-of-choice". This position provides analytical support to the GTFSC team and perform other duties as required by the business.
Essential Functions
The Final Mile Distribution Analyst (“Associate”) supports the GoTo Foods Franchise community, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction with Final Mile Delivery Services. They ensure inventory and service-level compliance as outlined in the company’s distribution service agreements. They as a liaison between our distributors and our Brands support our distribution partners’ view that GoTo Foods Supply Chain (“GTFSC”) is a customer-of-choice". This position provides analytical support to the GTFSC team and perform other duties as required by the business.
Essential Functions
- Customer Support: Review, prioritize and assign all Supply Chain Portal submissions related to distribution service to ensure all GoTo Foods Franchisees feel value in their relationship with our business and partners, including:
- Providing monthly issue tracking reports to the GTFSC team and working on proactive measures in prevention of future similar issues.
- Submission-to-closure support and communication directly with franchisees and business partners.
- Coaches restaurants on best practices to prevent reoccurrence when issues arise due to operator error.
- Responding to daily distribution needs of all GoTo Foods Concepts, documents all issues/challenges in a centralized tracking system, and ensures resolution and follow-up to all topics with the representing distributor.
- Inventory Compliance: Daily review of inventory levels of critical, promotional and regular review of non-critical ingredients with the goal of supply interruption avoidance and mitigation of obsolete inventory, including:
- Proactive, sustained communication with business partners
- Maintenance of all relevant data in the system-of-record and connected business intelligence reports
- Internal Business Partnership: Promotes the associate’s role and team’s relevance to other business units within GFTSC and the GoTo Foods organization, including:
- Preparation of data for the business
- Participation in business reviews
- Assistance with special projects
- Other necessary business support
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of the above degree requirement.
- 2-4 years of experience, Preferred
- 1-3 years of industry experience, Preferred
- General understanding of supply chain concepts
- Developed understanding of food service distribution
- General understanding of computer hardware and software
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to display calm demeanor under pressure
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of common office applications, (Excel (Intermediate or Expert level preferred), Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint
- May be required to travel up to 25% of the time
