- Help patients feel at ease before their appointments.
- Properly sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
- Perform initial oral health assessments and review patient histories.
- Identify conditions such as gingivitis, cavities, or periodontal disease.
- Provide dental cleanings and preventative care, including fluoride applications.
- Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and demonstrate effective brushing techniques.
- Offer clear post-procedure care instructions.
- Take X-rays or dental impressions as needed.
- Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies.
