What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead position at Gould Intelligent, LLC?
Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking an IT Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead for a long term contract in Phoenix, AZ. Work will be hybrid with onsite being primarily the Phoenix Metro area. Pay is $50 - $55 / hr.
Candidate will be overseeing a number of SOCs across the Phoenix Metro Area. 10% driving in Phoenix and Tucson (possible overnight) with own vehicle. Candidate will manage daily operations, be responsible for threat monitoring and response. A big part of this role will be training and mentorship. Candidate must have strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, and other security technologies. Must have 3 years’ experience in SOC or cybersecurity as well as team lead or management experience. Preferred candidate will have experience with crowdstrike / crowdflare, relevant certifications and / or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Must be a U.S. citizen, currently reside in the Phoenix Metro area, be able to work onsite in downtown Phoenix as needed, be able to drive to various metro locations, and be able to pass relevant background and fingerprint checks.
