Responsibilities:
- Perform basic installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair of electrical distribution systems, lighting systems and standby power systems. Familiar with three phase and single-phase power distribution.
- Ability to install EMT and IMC conduit and pull wire
- Familiarity with Motor Control Centers, AC/DC drives and motors
- Ensure site compliance by applying NFPA code 70 (NEC) to electrical work
- Possess a basic familiarity with process control equipment
- Perform weighing systems work in compliance with North Carolina Weights and Measures Act of 1975
- Possess a basic familiarity with HVAC systems
- Support projects as assigned, assist with design and fabrication of process control panels
- Participate in emergency response program for chemical spills, fire, medical emergencies
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of related experience and training
- Forklift & Manlift experience
- NC State Electrical License (Preferred)
- Basic Computer skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
