Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Position Summary:

Supervise all AM warehouse operations.

Pre Requisites:

• Able to lift up to 60lbs
• SuperioriLo H and electric jack skills
• Able to work in cold environment
• Speak and write English (Bilingual preferred)
• Adequate computer skills
• Valid clean drivers license

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all shipping SOPS, communicating to shipping manager any deviations.
• Maintain interior and exterior premises in a clean and safe condition. Taking appropriate action to any non compliance situation.
• Maintain high standard of subordinate employee motivation, relationship and team harmony. Ensuring the required appropriate standard of job performance, and employee discipline.
• Ensure and provide effective communication particularly between shipping, production, boxing departments and customer service.
• Communicate daily status of finished orders and product shortages to boxing supervisor & warehouse manager
• Make recommendations, suggestions to the receiving, warehouse shipping manager for any improvements that may have a positive impact to process accuracy, efficiency, cost and safety.
• Ensure that all GMP’s and Food Safety standards are maintained at all time without compromise.
• Ensure effective handover of shift
• Maintain and ensure proper use of all shipping equipment
• Manage and maintain GB truck fleet
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all order assembly. Manage all order assembly processes
• Manage all storage and sale of GBD product
• Manage and control all finished inventory
• Coordinate all requisition functions for PM shift
• Organize & maintain freezers and cooler product in accordance with FIFO and inventory location standards
• Manage loading and shipment of all stock transfers in accordance with stock transfer SOP’s (see stock transfer SOP’s)
• Field all emergency phone calls ie. police, fire, temperature alarms, carrier issues ect
• Ensure all shipping paperwork is completed and processed in line with Standard Operating Procedures

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
