We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Oil Receiving Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient transfer of edible oils into and out of 6,000-gallon tanks, monitoring equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments and can involve physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and control the flow of edible oil into and out of 6,000-gallon tanks.
- Transload edible oil from tankers to tanks, including both company-owned and third-party tankers.
- Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential malfunctions or safety hazards and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent spills, leaks, or incidents.
- Maintain logs of oil transfers, tank levels, and maintenance activities to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, handling the transload of oil, hoses, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak and write English.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in oil handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy containers and move hoses as required.
- Ability to work with a basic computer system for tracking and logging product information.
- Knowledge of how to connect and disconnect hoses properly and safely during oil transfers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to track product information accurately.
- Willingness to always follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Must have prior experience with Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, Reach, Sit Down and Pallet Trucks)
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
