What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:
• Perform all GL Journal Entries as required
• Perform all Daily Reconciliation and reporting of cash
• Perform daily reconciliation of Inventory and Receivables
• Review and post all expense reporting and payroll downloads into accounting system
• Balance Intercompany cash accounts at period end
• Reconcile accrual and prepaid accounts
• Review and record all loan payments
• Track and reconcile all fixed asset and capital project transactions
• Assist in preparation of financial forecast and budgets
• Assist in annual financial audit preparation
• Perform Sales & Use Tax reporting as required and assist in tax audits
• Assist in filing tax reporting monthly, quarterly and annual at a state and local level
Things you need to be able to do:
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience using financial software and financial reporting
• Ability to communicate with business managers and team members
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Things that are a plus:
• 3-5 years as an accountant or related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
