Overview :
GovCIO is currently hiring for Junior Level Administrator for US Mint. This position will be located in Philadelphia, PA and is an on-site role.
Responsibilities :
Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates / deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and / or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and / or network vendors.
- Installs and maintains network equipment, including switches, hubs, and UPSs.
- Performs site network proposal walk throughs, creates and proofs network plant proposals for participating sites utilizing software that creates graphical representations of communications networks.
- Maintains and repairs the network infrastructure like operating systems, routers and other network related components.
- Troubleshoots and resolves network problems as needed to ensure maximum availability, reliability and efficiency.
- Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
Qualifications :
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
