Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for Platform System Administrator to support enablement of US AFRICOM’s mission objectives. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related components. Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Implement and enforce security protocols to protect data and systems. Optimize system performance and resource utilization through regular maintenance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 8 years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Secret
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be US Citizen
TESA Approval Required: Bachelors and 3 years' experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience in the field of endeavor. No Waiver.
Strong experience with Windows server administration and related technologies.
Computing environment certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure101, etc).
Security or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
