Wetland Scientist / Field Technician
We are seeking an experienced Wetland Scientist / Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wetland delineation and related natural resource fieldwork. Familiarity with wetland permitting in New Hampshire or other Northeast states is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct wetland delineations following US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) methods and criteria
- Perform vernal pool surveys and assessments
- Collect, manage, and document field data
- Assist staff with soil mapping and test pit observation
- Support miscellaneous field and office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
✔ NH Certified Wetland Scientist (CWS) is NOT required to apply
✔ 3 years of experience in wetland delineation
✔ Proficiency in ACOE Wetland Delineation methods, hydric soil indicators, and wetland plant identification
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
