Sr. Automation Engineer
Government Acquisitions Inc. (GAI) – is seeking a Sr, Automation Engineer to join our highly skilled Engineering Team. The Sr. Automation Engineer is intended to support cleared (TS/SCI) automation projects in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Job Description & Work Responsibilities (Tasks include but are not limited to the following):
- Oversee completion of projects for federal clients - inside and outside of the DC Metro Area – and perform as a Business Analyst, Developer, and Solution Architect
- Inform and enforce and technical standards across automation efforts
- Contribute valuable technical insight during presales consultations with clients to assist with RPA adoption
Qualifications/Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Robotic Process Automation
- Object-oriented programming
- Consulting and advising
- Web Development using HTML and JavaScript (Preferred)
- Experience with reading from, writing to, and manipulating databases using SQL or PL/SQL (Preferred)
- Experience with IT Infrastructure and Networking (Preferred)
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and the ability to balance the needs of multiple concurrent projects
Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or another technical discipline.
Experience:
- 2 - 5 years working with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or other RPA software suites
- 2 years in the Consulting, Financial Services, IT Operations, or Defense industries
- 2 - 5 years of object-oriented programming (VB, VB.NET, VBA or C# preferred) and knowledge of programming best practices around logical division, portability, documentation, and testing of scripts
Interpersonal/Teamwork:
- Must work cooperatively with Field Sales Representative(s) and Inside Sales Representative(s)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Oral and Written Communication:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve client concerns; Technical troubleshooting
Integrity/Honesty: Must act ethically, with integrity & honesty at all times.
Influencing/negotiating: Ability to persuade and influence others
Other Requirements:
- Work may require travel to current and potential clients.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
Certifications, Licenses, and Clearances:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) Certification
