COMPANY - Government Charter Services, LLC (GCS) is a Department of Defense authorized passenger Transportation Company. Our primary mission is the safe and efficient transportation of young men and women who are entering military service. Our customers are the regional Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in Sioux Falls, SD.
JOB DUTIES – 2 positions are available.
Utilizing our 15-passenger van, you would be driving military applicants from the MEPS to various doctor’s offices for medical appointments (consults). This requirement is Monday through Friday 07:00am -2:00pm. Pay rate – $23.98/hr. Some days you will not have any medical consults. If there are no consults, we will pay you to be on call from 10:00am-2:00pm. Guaranteed five days a week.
*The weeks or days will be split between the two drivers equally and agreeably over a two-week pay period*.
*Each driver MUST be available to cover for each other for sickness, vacations, etc.*
WAGES: Using the Federal Wage Determination – the pay rate for driving our shuttle van is listed above. The job is part-time. Paid training. No other benefits are offered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Applicants MUST possess a valid Driver’s License. Drivers MUST have a current DOT physical or be able to obtain the physical. Applicants MUST provide a current clean MVR (motor vehicle report). MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug tests, and a background check.
Applicants MUST have a minimum of three (3) years’ professional passenger
carrying experience.
