Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mental health professionals in providing direct psychiatric care and treatment to patients with complex and difficult disorders.
- Evaluate patients to determine therapeutic and medical needs; develop treatment plans; participate in case conferences and consult with clinical staff regarding support services and treatment options.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnosis, determine therapeutic and medical needs of patients and prescribe treatment.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California and board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in psychiatric medicine and treatment, including 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
