Serves as the Medical Director at Caro Psychiatric Hospital.

Supervises medical services provided in the medical care program, such as medicine, paramedical support services, and medical consultations.

Participates in the development of new policies and procedures involving medical care provided for patients consistent with regulatory standards and applicable public status.

Support through positive behavior and attitude the Affirmative Action Plan and program of the Department of Health and Human Services and Caro Psychiatric Hospital.

Required Education and Experience

Education

Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.

Experience

Four years of post medical degree experience in the practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications

Some positions may require possession of board certification in a specialty area. Some positions may require a Controlled Substance license. Michigan licensure to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery.
