Position: Java AWS Developer - AWS Connect
Location: Wilmington, DE (Weekly 5 days office is Must).
Duration: Contract
Mandatory Skills: Java 8, Microservices, Spring Boot, API and very strong experience in AWS Cloud Services such as AWS Connect, EC2, Lambda, S3.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Build and optimize AWS Connect solutions to integrate with cloud-based applications and contact center services.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices architectures to support business-critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure effective delivery of services.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and delivery.
- Automate deployment processes and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, AWS, and microservices technologies, and integrate new tools and practices into the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- 7 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on building Java microservices.
- Expertise in AWS Connect, with hands-on experience in implementing contact center solutions using AWS services.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java-based tools and libraries.
- Experience in developing microservices architectures and creating efficient RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing with hands-on experience using AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on optimizing application performance.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with message queues (e.g., SQS, SNS) and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS Cognito or integrating identity management systems.
