Position Overview:
GovTact is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join a small, high-performing team supporting submarine design initiatives at NSWC Carderock. Developers will work on multiple products that design blueprints and concepts for submarines, assisting system designs from concept to construction.
This is a fully on-site role where developers will initially engage in bug fixing and progressively transition into more complex and impactful development tasks as trust and capability is built within the team.
Technical Environment:
- Primary Language: C
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- Frameworks/Tools: QT
- Database: Unique, non-relational, algorithmic database
- Full stack development; heavy codebase involvement by all developers
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years of professional C development experience
- Strong foundational knowledge; advanced experience not required
- Motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow into larger responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a high-expectation environment
- Excited to work hands-on with complex, full-system architecture
- Able to thrive in a collaborative environment
Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
